All About Fruit is an iconic staple for the New Farm Community, located in the heart of Merthyr Village. VPG had the pleasure of working closely with the owners in staging this project to ensure their fitout was constructed without any down time for their trade. The fitout included all new fixtures and fittings along with an expansion of floor space into an adjoining tenancy.
The new store expresses a modern marketplace feel with the quality New Farm customers are accustomed to.
Ralph & Co, Camp Hill Brisbane

Formally Fig Tree Deli the refurbishment and rebrand was well overdue. Under New Management the aim of the Ralph and Co Rebrand was to revive this once thriving deli cafe by offering quality produce and a unique dining experience.
The cafe located in strip shopping section of the Camp Hill Market Place now reflects a modern botanical sanctuary.
VPG Projects developed the concept, designed the interior and constructed the fitout.
iPONG Brisbane, MacGregor Brisbane

A digital beer pong and darts mecca, iPONG is the first venue of its kind in Queensland.
The 300m2 site was previously a mechanics workshop and is tucked away in an industrial complex in Macgregor. The project presented a bounty of challenges for both design and construction, including power acoustic treatments to name a few.
VPG Projects developed the concept, designed the interior and constructed the fitout. The interior is full of unique design details and lighting effects exuding an 80’s sci-fi vibe.
Express Tees, Surfers Paradise

Express Tees located at Surfers Paradise is a bustling store filled with souvenier clothing. The fitout included installation of ready made shopfitting and custom joinery all finished off with creative graphics and accents of coloured ACM panelling. All in all creating a functional retail space with loads of areas for storage and display. The tiled counter creates a solid element within the space with function joinery behind.

This economical refurbishment, was all about supply and installation of shop fixtures. The client was extremely budget focused and wanted the best solution for the lowest cost, in the quickest time. Utilising as much as possible of the existing fitout to save on time and money VPG Projects was able to produce a clean and contemporary pharmacy fitout that not only looked the part but was also fit for purpose.

Local Hospitality fitout located in a busy hub across from RBWH. In collaboration with local design company Curious Us, the objective was to makeover the space to compliment the newly created fresh and energetic business. Front of house and kitchen refurbishment inclusive
of rebranding and updated finishes including recycled timber, contributing to a welcoming and relaxing place for corporate clients to enjoy a coffee and meal.
P'nut Street Noodles, Windsor

Completed in early May 2018 P’nut Noodle Bar Windsor was cleverly designed by Brad Ward Design. The VPG Projects fit out team successfully coordinated a bevy of trades in this 40m2 tenancy to produce a successful interior bursting with all the elements P’nut Street Noodles is becoming renowned for.

Burger Urge, Green Hills

From design to fruition VPG Projects have produced another successful store for their longstanding client Burger Urge. Located in Green Hills just outside Newcastle this is the 3rd interstate store for the Brisbane Based Burger Franchise.
The store is situated in the brand new Courtyard Dining Precinct of the Stockland Green Hills Shopping Centre $414 million redevelopment. The fit out was produced during the construction phase of the Courtyard Precinct and therefore our team worked under the banner of the tier 1 contractor Multiplex, this coupled with meeting Stockland design requirements, the client’s needs and the tight deadline was no mean feat. The end result is testament to VPG Projects commitment to client satisfaction.
Burger Urge, George St

VPG Projects has successfully delivered the 22nd store in the Burger Urge chain, bringing their burgers to the Brisbane CBD. The store is situated in the prominent location of 199 George Street adjacent to the river end of the Queen Street Mall. This high profile inner city location posed difficulties from heritage restrictions to delivery and access limitations. The VPG Projects construction team worked tirelessly to overcome these obstacles, successfully delivering this store in August 2017. The 185m2 franchise encompasses the modern Brooklyn Bar aesthetic that Burger Urge is rolling out in all their new stores.
Sushi Kenzen, Fortitude Valley

Located at the Wickham St end of the Fortitude Valley Mall Brisbane, Sushi Kenzen is the flagship store for this ethical brand of sushi. This high-profile yet compact 50m2 heritage site was not without challenges, from access issues to fulfilling heritage requirements. The VPG Projects team, in collaboration with store owner Ken and the designers from Whitewood Agency, worked through these obstacles to produce a slick food outlet complete with commercial kitchen, functional displays and modern ambience.
Burger Urge, Redbank Plains

VPG Projects delivered the 175m2 Redbank Plains store in early 2017. We were involved in the project from concept through to completion, undertaking the design, approvals and construction in house. The store features a custom 10m wide wrap around window bench seat with bifold windows, articulating the corner of the shopfront and bringing the outside in. New finish elements were also introduced including antique mirror, pressed metal and brass trims enhancing the New York bar charm.
Burger Urge, Mackay

VPG Projects completed Burger Urge's second central Queensland store at Sydney Street Markets in Mackay. The design was a new direction for Burger Urge, reminiscent of Brooklyn bars in the 1950s, and included an outdoor pergola structure and for the first time a full service bar. The team was faced with the challenge of delivering these new design features in a more remote location, but was able to meet these demands and the end result speaks for itself.
Elysium Restaurant & Bar Refurbishment, Victoria Point

VPG Projects completed the design and build for the Elysium Restaurant and Bar refurbishment. VPG Projects worked with the client to produce the stunning redesign of the bar, coffee bar, internal lounge and dining, and outdoor dining area, to create a natural and ambient waterfront dining experience. The build was completed in less than three weeks.

Burger Urge opened in central Queensland as part of Stockland Shopping Centre’s $6.6m new Terrace restaurant and dining precinct. VPG Projects delivered the 133m2 fit out on time and under budget, and it has been met with exceptional response from the local Rockhampton community.
Burger Urge DFO Brisbane Airport

VPG Projects completed construction of the 15th Burger Urge restaurant at the new Brisbane Airport DFO Skygate store in late February 2016. The 100m2 site is part of a major $30m transformation at the Airport's new retail, commercial and lifestyle precinct. The project was completed on behalf of Spotless, a publicly listed catering and hospitality company specialising in managing retail outlets in airports, stadiums and hospitals. This project presented a new set of challenges to ensure the extensive regulatory requirements of the landlord, Brisbane Airport Corporation, were met.

Burger Urge’s flagship store at Westfield Chermside Shopping Centre was completed in February 2015 by VPG Projects. Being the largest foot print Burger Urge store to date (275m2), VPG Projects was responsible for pushing the design boundaries by incorporating quirky design features such as shipping containers cut into booth seating, hanging vintage bicycles from the double height ceilings and creating an internal and external pergola beer garden to create an interesting and inviting space. VPG Projects coordinated all facets of the project delivery to capture the design vision and quality outcome required of the client.

VPG Projects negotiated with the landlord an extra 60m2 of outdoor licenced seating, at no additional cost to the lease. A large outdoor structural steel feature pergola was built in this zone to place Burger Urge front and centre in the dining precinct. The internal store design experimented with new raw and industrial design elements such as besser block feature walls with plants scattered throughout, and water pipe feature light fittings.

The Coop Espresso Bar is located in the heart of the busy corporate CBD offices in Eagle St Brisbane. The challenge was to fit a high-end, high specification cafe into a small 9m2 space. The end product made up for size in its level of finish, incorporating various unique design elements such a custom peacock tiles, pendants and appliances to reflect the avian theme of the brand.
